Sales Associate

POSITION SUMMARY

We currently have an opening available for a full time Sales Associate/wireless consultant position!  If you are an exciting, outgoing, enthusiastic individual, have an interest in selling cell phones and other consumer electronics, and are able to work some weekends, then you should consider this challenging opportunity!  I am looking for someone who works with little supervision and loves to work with the public.  Please check out the qualifications below and fill out the application and attach a cover letter and resume.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Self-motivated with a high energy level and a desire to succeed
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be reliable and have high personal integrity
• An overall knowledge of the latest technologies including computers, cell phones and other electronic devices is a definite plus!
• Ability to analyze customer needs, present solutions and add value through delivery of products and services
• Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision
• Have effective negotiation, closing skills, and after-sale service capabilities
• Must be computer literate with word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
• Must have a valid drivers license for onsite computer repair jobs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Store hours are 9:00 am to 7:00 pm , Mon. – Sat. and 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sun.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Performing various housekeeping duties both inside and outside the store premises to maintain the store facilities in a clean, orderly appearance for customers.
• Stock and restock store merchandise as needed
• Provide prompt, courteous, quality customer service to store customers to assist them with their shopping and other service needs, both in-person and via telephone
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service skills; able to maintain one’s composure under difficult situations and remain courteous at all times. Prior experience working in a retail environment, helpful
• Ring customer sales for store purchases using the computerized point of purchase register and other equipment to process payments by cash, credit cards, gift cards, etc.
• Receive cash from customers and give correct change
• Be responsible and/or assist with store opening and store closing activities including making bank deposits of daily receipts
• Maintain a pleasant, courteous, and professional demeanor at all times when interacting with customers and other employees
• Performs any other related duties as requested
